Expedition to the Unknown

On the 22nd June, 22 of the Year 6 pupils at Ashley C of E Primary School will be going on a trip of a life time up the Aiguille du Midi which is a 3842m high mountain in Chamonix, France.
The purpose of this trip is to understand individual, team and global well-being. An example of individual well-being is keeping ourselves healthy by eating well, sleeping and exercising but sometimes we find it hard to do this.
Throughout the 5 days, we will be exploring the Alps and seeing the glaciers and how everyone is affecting them. We will also be thinking about sustainability and how we can make a difference to our planet.
